The work, duties and powers of the Head of the Regional Police Office within his area of ​​work shall be as follows:-

(c) Conducting punishment, reward, transfer, promotion and other moral development activities by inspecting and supervising police personnel, office and police operations,
(d) arranging for hearing the complaints of subordinate police personnel,
(e) arranging for the monitoring of persons and activities of persons and activities which are injurious to security, of bad character, suspected and convicted by the court of criminal offences, to keep up to date the collected information and details,
(f) To provide or cause effective and people-oriented police services to be formulated in relation to the prevention and control of anti-security activities and crimes,
(g) To make the investigation of the crimes designated to be investigated by the police as per the prevailing law effective and expeditious and also to provide the necessary assistance in the investigation,
(h) To arrange or arrange for the security of highly specific and specific persons in accordance with the policy implemented by the Taluk Office and also to monitor the security arrangements of subordinate offices and give necessary instructions,
(i) Arrange for regular monitoring of security personnel deployed to provide security services from the private sector,

(d) Sending reports to the Inspector General of Police as soon as necessary or monthly and annually on matters of police unit and manpower, planning and operations, daily peace and security, crime investigation, matters of national and public importance.
